My students have created websites on iphones, ipads, laptops, and computers. Though many devices can be used to create your SquareSpace site, a laptop/computer is always the best option.

Please read this before our class together.

Devices:

• On laptops & computers:

  • SquareSpace offers the most comprehensive ability to edit your site.  You have full access to your pages and editing the design of your site.

• On iPads, tablets, iPhones, & other mobile devices:

  •  they are actually using the SquareSpace App. This system has a lot of the same features. 

  • Can: 

    • Add / edit blank Layout pages

    • Add Blog, Gallery, & Index Pages

    • Add new folders and external navigation links.

    • Add and edit most sections 

    • Create and send email campaigns.

    • Make style changes.

    • Add new blog posts.

    • Add, edit, and rearrange most blocks (7.0 only)

    • Upload images directly from your device to Gallery Pages, Gallery Blocks, and Image Blocks.

    • Edit basic site settings, including Announcement Bar, Business Information, and Site Password.

  • Cant:

    • Create a new site.

    • Edit Album, Cover, Events, Info, Products, or Project Pages.

    • Edit footers.

    • Update Billing settings. 

    • Access some site settings, including Domains and Template.
