Lynette Williams founded LYWDesigns in 2011 to help small businesses and individuals thrive through memorable design. This includes custom websites, innovative branding, unique logos, well-curated social media marketing, and technical troubleshooting . Her clients and their satisfaction are her priority. She takes pride in the quality of her work and the speed with which she helps clients meet their design needs.

She develops, maintains, and troubleshoots websites on platforms including WordPress, Wix, & SquareSpace.

Her design approach balances functionality, optimization, and responsiveness. Her design aesthetic balances minimalism, modernism, sophistication, and intuitive design.

Design, troubleshooting, and teaching are her passions.

Through the years, Lynette began to analyze how the industry has shifted. Less small businesses, individuals, and entrepreneurs are paying web design firms. Companies like SquareSpace, Weebly, Wix, and Shopify have helped web development become accessible by creating a library of customizable templates on their platforms. This has enabled anyone to create clean and modern websites on their own, only paying for a subscription, and eliminating thousands of dollars to a web design firm.

Lynette soon noticed a trend - the customizing of templates was less intuitive for people than advertised. When trying to customize their websites, many small businesses were hitting a similar snag. Once clients signed up for a free trial, they soon realized customizing a template requires a lot of time and effort. For many people the initial learning curve made this process seem overwhelming and sometimes not worth it.

Lynette helps to fill in the missing pieces. Whether a client needs a an entire website overhaul or simply lessons on how to use their template, she helps clients thrive online.
